Intrepid Class

The Intrepid class starships are more technologically advanced, incorporating bioneural gel packs to replace much of the standard circuitry found on previous Federation vessels. Another unique feature of the Intrepid class ships is their ability to land on hard surfaces. Superbly equipped for exploration and research, these ships have an equally impressive array of defensive and offensive weapons.  Perhaps the most famous ship of the line is the U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656.
