Akira Class

The Akira class starships are designed for multi-mission transport and combat missions as well as deep space assignments. They are equipped with a changeable upper equipment module that can be outfitted for specific mission profiles. The most famous ship of the line is the U.S.S. Thunderchild NCC-63549 which defended Setor 001 against the Borg incursion of 2373.
