Older People, Abundant Living (OPAL) is an adult ministry program for people over the age of 50. Sponsored by St. John's Lutheran Church in Alexandria, Virginia U.S.A., OPAL's membership is approximately 30 people from nearby areas and congregations.
We get together for fun and fellowship, bible study and travel as we explore life after 50....abundantly!
St. John's Lutheran Church is handicap accessible, and has a wheel chair for use at the church. We offer large print bulletins and amplification headsets for the hearing impaired. The Church sponsors a worship service once a month at a nearby nursing home.
